Chlorophytum tuberosum growing in natural forests of Mandu was studied on the basis of community dynamics, relative frequency, relative density, relative dominance and Importance Value Index (IVI) from two different sites in the forests of Mandu. A phytograph was also prepared.
The phytosociological parameters projected that Chlorophytum tuberosum has a high value of relative frequency, relative density, relative dominance and IVI value in the community. For true conservation of Chlorophytum tuberosum, the species like Curculigo orchioides, Pachystoma senile, Ageratum conyzoides should also be conserved along with Chlorophytum tuberosum.
