Abstract

Sexual reproduction in four species of Euallomyces group, viz., A. arbuscula, A. javanicus, A. macrogynus, A. recurvus and Allomyces sp. (1010) has been critically discussed together with the variations in sexual apparatus in different species. The sporo-thalli have also been detailed out due to the fact that the meiosporangia, from which gameto-thalli originate, develop on sporothalli. The effects of certain physico-chemical factors have also been discussed.
