The present studies were carried out to characterize forty six aromatic rice accessions of Dubraj group from Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. These germplasm accessions were evaluated for twenty morphological, six agronomical and eight quality characters. The specific accessions D: 1137, D: 812, D: 950, D: 959, D: 925, D: 1008, D: 939, D: 666I and D: 1090 were identified for quality and agronomical characteristics. These may be used in hybridization programme to achieve desired segregants for good grain quality with higher yield.
