Four hyphomycetes viz: Monodictys desquamata K. Rodr., Figueras & Guarro, Monodictys nitens (Schwein.) S. Hughes, Sphaeridium candidum Fuckel and Acrodictys papillata (P. Rag. Rao & D. Rao) G. Z. Zhao are reported from Chandigarh (India). Monodictys desquamata, M. nitens and S. candidum are new records for India whereas A. papillata is a new record for North India.
