Abstract

The experiment was laid out from 2010 to 2013 at Vegetable Farm, C.S. Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur on integrated nutrient management in tomato crop. The main objective was to find out the suitable doses of micro-nutrients with association of major nutrients for producing the maximum number of marketable fruits of tomato. Combined foliar application of Zn 100 ppm, B 100 ppm, Mo 50 ppm, Fe 100 ppm, Cu 100 ppm & Mn 100 ppm with the soil application of 120 kg N, 60 kg P2O5, 80 kg K2O, 10 t FYM, 25 kg S and 5 kg Azotobactor/ha (T18) gave higher marketable fruits and minimum unmarketable fruits. This treatment also gave higher yield of fruits per plant by 2.09 kg/plant, closely followed by T13, T14, and T17. The maximum pooled yield of 308.73 q/ha was recorded in treatment T18, which was at per with T17 (301.08 q/ha). The lowest yield as 176.09 q/ha was recorded at recommended dose of NPK (T1).
