The aim of this study is to explore the social, economical and political empowerment of women in the light of Indian Constitution, which is long over due as they have been suppressed, subjected to humiliation, subjugated, discriminated and denied the rights of women which are quite necessary for human development. This study further discusses about recent developments of the law for empowerment of women in social, economic and political spheres and also discusses about implementation of existing laws and finding a solution to overcome barriers in empowerment of women by enacting new laws and strict implementation of the existing laws.
