The relationship between Fundamental Rights and Directive Principles of State Policy of the Constitution has been a controversial issue right from their inception in the Constitution. The primary distinction between the two is regarding the enforceability. In case of conflict between the two, the judiciary adopted different approaches and evolved a radical approavh fnally to read Directive Principles in Fundamental Rights.
