Cybercrimes in India with special reference to offences against women

Due to the advancement of technologies, nowadays everyone is dependent on the computer as after covid the situation changed now everything is done online whether it's in terms of payment or education. Everyone wants to be part of social media whether it's Instagram or Facebook or various other sites are there but the usage of these sites can sometimes become dangerous to people also as it leads to the commission of cyber crimes and especially women are the victims of these crimes whether it may be stalking, pornography, cyber bullying and various other crimes are also there. Women are being targeted here and rate of the cyber crimes against women have been increased. Although it's good that we can take benefit of these technologies but every good side has a bad side too. Many provisions have been laid down under Information Technology Act, 2000 regarding various cyber crimes against women.
