Abstract

In the present study an attempt has been made to formulate means of stature estimation using lower limb dimensions of Kshatriyas females of Odisha. A total 735 apparently healthy Kshatriyas females, who are devoid of any physical deformity, were measured from different localities of Bhubaneswar. All the subjects ranged in age from 20 to 40 years. Subjects were measured for the following four measurements of lower extremity-Femur length, Tibial length, Fibular length and Foot length besides Stature Here, an attempt has been made to determine the relationship between stature and lower limb measurements, and formulate multiplication factors and regression equations for stature estimation among females Kshatriya The study has also further tried to determine the more reliable approach.
