Representing the Republic of South Africa, my country,
The Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) is a widely recognised qualification. This qualification has improved the employability of many people in the teaching field as well as those who were/are working in different disciplines. This autobiographical essay is a review of my personal experience while being a CELTA trainee in Southern Africa, and the advantages of completing a CELTA qualification.
