Abstract

India being a developing nation is faced with traditional public health problems like communicable diseases, malnutrition, poor environmental sanitation and inadequate medical care. The main objective of the present study is to review the health research in India among Professional and Industrial Workers of different sectors.

A secondary data about Employment status, Prevalence of some of the occupational lung diseases, Occupational injuries and diseases, Laws and regulations, Research Activities were collected and analyzed from major governmental institutes of India.
