Motherhood is the most important position a woman can have in her life but it can be a life threatening event as well. Maternal complications and poor perinatal outcome are highly associated with non-utilisation of Mother and child health care services and poor socioeconomic conditions of the patient. It is essential that all pregnant women have access to high quality obstetric care throughout their pregnancies. This study was conducted to evaluatethe utilization of mother and child health care services among the Bhils women of Udaipur district in Rajasthan. Data was collected by usingthe pre-tested and modified interview schedule. In this study 155 ever married women were included for the collection of data on the the utilization of the Mother and child health care services. Result of this study show that the 83.22% of the expectant mother went for regular ANC check-ups, 60.64% were immunized for tetanus, 80% mothers took folate supplementation and 78.38% were assisted by health professionals during child delivery. 96.12%, 98.70%, 89.0% and 76.7%of children were immunized against polio, BCG, DPT and measles respectively. Bhil women of Udaipur district Rajasthanare aware about benefits of various mother and child health care policies issued by the government suggesting efficient and effective utilization of the Mother and child health care services.
