Moral Teachings as depicted in the Mahabharata

Abstract

The objectives of the this paper is to present some moral teachings as depicted in the Mahabharata. The selected items are considered that the peopleoftheworld todayshould practicetohelp developmenttheirminds and live with paacefulness and happiness. The moral techings which were depicted, in the main, are same to Yama and Niyama in the Yogasutra. There are I. satya (truthfulness) II. ahimsa (non-violence) III. dama (selfrestraint) IV. saucha (Purity) V. asteya (non-stealing) that are selected to present in the paper
