The Liangmai tribe is one of the backward tribe of Manipur, India. Due to inadequate infrastructure and low socioeconimec status the Liangmai women are deprived of the benefit of Health care and lack the knowledge of proper nourishment during the period of attainment of womanhood. The status of puberty of a woman defines the condition of the future health of the women and the reproductivetrajectory of a women can also elucidate the population growth pattern as well as the socioeconomic status of a community. In this present study an attempt is made to understand tlhe reproductive trajectory of the Liangmai women of Manipur.
