Abstract

The Holy Spirit as the primary agent of mission plays a significant role in addressing the context of pluralism. It is through the Holy Spirit inspiring, enabling and empowering, we can address plurality and work towards the building of the Kingdom of God. This paper would like to examine three main points: First, to discuss the indispensible role of the Holy Spirit as the primary agent of mission. Second, to explore the concept of Religious Pluralism as a reality that is integrated in the plan of God and a divine gift to celebrate, discussing points of convergence in the concept of God, the question of ultimate goal and destiny, and the nature and characteristic of the religion that we have. Third point is to emphasize the Missiological understanding of the Holy Spirit in the building of God's kingdom. In conclusion, this paper argues that the Holy Spirit as primary agent of mission is indispensible in a religiously plural world. Thereby, proposing a spirit-centered approach in mission.
