This article reviews the conflict brewing with Iran and evaluates possible solutions to address Iran's nuclear programme including an assessment of the human and health effects of war that must be factored into any decisionmaking. Reasoned, respectful diplomacy and discourse are the only options for a satisfactory solution resulting in a safeguarded peaceful nuclear programme in Iran, without nuclear weapons.
