Russia is a European nation which stretches across Northern Asia all the way to the Pacific. Its future therefore lies, at least in part with the EU, in spite of US inspired attempts to keep the two apart by perpetuating the Cold War. The OSCE may provide the right plateform to heal this historic rift and rebuild continental unity.
