Address to the 8th World Public Forum Dialogue of Civilisations, Rhodes, Greece October 7–10, 2010
Our search for knowledge through the sciences (for the outer) and religious beliefs (for the inner) human is a search for truth, while the search for a new paradigm is also a search for truth through the outer human. The search is about how our past actions have brought us to our present state, and how our present actions will determine our future. However, the unanswered question before our quest can be resolved, concerns the image of the future, which must define a set of parameters (values and constraints) that should guide us towards the future. That is the purpose of this search.
