The small hydro is environmental friendly and provides operational flexibility suitable for peak support to the local grid as well as for stand-alone operation in isolated and remote area. This paper presents the various techniques used for Electronic Load Controller. Attempt has also been made to compare the SHP system having conventional type governing with SHP system having Electronic Load Controller. The simulated results of various circuits also given.
