The paper describes the salient features of the desilting system arrangement of Maneri Bhali Hydroelectric Scheme Stage-II project under advanced stage of construction in Uttaranchal State and highlights the arrangement of inspection galleries proposed in the desilting chamber for housing the flushing pipes and to facilitate the inspection, cleaning, maintenance and repair of flushing pipes.
