Even small improvements to the performance of gas turbine-based power or cogeneration plants can have a significant economic impact. Improvements can be achieved by optimizing inlet air filtration and, where necessary, inlet air cooling. Here author looks at each technology, together with the advantages of a combined ‘air conditioning’ approach.
