Abstract

The Geographical Information System (GIS) has multiple links to Outage Management Systems (OMS) for a visual presentation of outage information. GIS feeds the core OMS for outage analysis and crew dispatch and also feeds management reporting systems, mobile dispatch and mobile maps, outage maps and plotting of outage history maps.
