Model Experiments for Estimation of Dis charge Coefficient of the Proposed Hanumannagar Barrage on Kosi River

In connection with the Kosi barrage design, experiments were done with various different weir profiles for determination of their discharging capacities. Incidentally, available data of discharge coefficients from experiments previously done in different hydraulic laboratories was also examined. Only such information of these studies which will be of general interest is presented in this article.
