The damages caused to the interacting jet dissipator of the Koilsagar spillway during the floods of 1955 and 1956 are detailed herein with an analysis in each case for the probable cause for damage. Further experimentation planned to study certain peculiar features that have been consistently observed in the prototype is also indicated in the report.
