This paper is an attempt lo add a little more to the general pool of information on the "Flow characteristics of the Ogee Spillway". Review of the available literature on this problem has been given. A theoretical expression for the energy loss over the spillway has been developed an the product of two functions. Suitable Tables have been given to simplify the computations. Examples have been icorked out to illustrate the computation procedure proposed.
