It is proponed to hold a symposium on ‘Foundation Engineering’ at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangahre in November 1960, to provide an opportunity for the practising Engineers and Research workers to come together and exchange views arid experiences on the subject.
It is requested that the Engineers and Research workers in the field of Foundation Engineering (both Fundamental and Applied) may kindly forward their papers on the subjects indicated below for the sym posiwn to the Convener, Shri C. X. Niyaraj, Asstt. Professor in Soil Mechanics, Civil & Hydraulic Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. The synopis of the paper may be sent by 31st May, 1960 and the full text with drawings etc. by 30th September, 1960.
