The application of axisymmetric assumptions to turbulent shear flow has been done for the case of a weak- homogeneous turbulent field. The assumption of weak turbulence linearises the fundamental equations and a further assumption of steady state makes the equations mathematically simpler. The associated mean velocity field is considered to be oriented along the direction of the arbitrary vector defining axismmetric turbulence, varying only with respect to one orthogonal vector. A solution for the spectrum scalars has been derived.
