Abstract

Estimation of yield of ground water reservoirs is an important problem in the development of water resources. The J determination of geohydrological constants and the formation of the aquifer is essential to assess the ground water yields. This forms the subject of study in this paper. The pertinent mathematical analysis and the simplifying assumptions made for the solutions of the equations for different types of aquifers (confined, leaky-confined and unconfined) under steady and unsteady states of flow, have been treated separately.
