Experiments conducted in the laboratory by utilising nuclear gauges are described. Twelve samples were prepared in the laboratory, their densities and equivalent moisture contents were determined by conventional methods by talcing mean of a number of such determinations and the respective count-rates were recorded.
Calibration curves are drawn and discussed.
