Investigations have shoivn that there are seasonal changes on the beaches of the Kerala Coast. Shore-line accretion occurs during seasons of light winds and long period swells, and erosion takes place during the monsoon season. There is seasonal reversal of littoral transport in many of the beaches. A study of the seasonal changes in eight reaches of the beaches along the Kerala Coast from April 196-1 to June 1966 is dealt with in this paper.
