It gives a picture of the growths of electricity in the rural areas of the State for the last 2 decades.
Tamil Nadu has registered phenomenal progress in the recent years in the field of connecting pumpsets to give a boost for the food production. In order that all the villages and hamlets in the state can have the basic necessity of the electricity, the Board has embarked on an ambitious flan to electrify all the villages and hamlets in the State before 1972.
