Abstract

The apparent electrical resistivities of the sub-soil layers measured at the ground surface forgeo-hydrological investigations are interpreted in terms of their true electrical resistivities with the help of standard-graphs. The calculations of standard-graphs are ordinarily time-consuming. Computer methods for calculating standard-graphs result into considerable saving of time. Methods for computing standard-graphs with the help of a digital computer for four-layer and three-layer sub-soil configurations are evolved and discussed in this paper.
