Simulation by hydraulic, electronic and mathematical models are well established methods to reproduce desired interaction of predominant parameters within “water resource” problems with the precise objective of prediction of local and extensive morpho-hydrology enduring over a period of time. While the hydraulic models scale down the events and presents the possibility of visual appreciation of a dynamic phenomenon, the electric analogue and the numerical simulation produce an end product of the parametrical interaction making it possible to conceive the basic phenomenon. The latter two techniques will be presented in context to the management of the Hugli Estuary in the State of West Bengal in India.
