Improvisation of plant load factor of small hydro power stations

Most prolific expression of modern-day Small Hydro Power (SHP) for electricity generation as well as development of an area is gaining wider use in India. Recognised as a kind of adequate, affordable and environmentally sound rural energy, SHP is being gradually developed in India also. For better output and sustainable development of SHP, it is recommended that the plant load factor of SHP stations be attractive. This paper describes many measures to improve the plant load factor.
