Chamera Hydroelectric Project (Stage-II) though is a medium size project but has become a trendsetter in the country in this field in many ways. For example in case of hydro mechanical equipments spillway radial gates are one of the largest in Asia and also the operating/control equipments are of state-of-the-art technology. This paper discusses briefly about the HM equipments provided in this project along with some of their special features.
