A new strategy for network reconfiguration via loss reduction using meshed load flow solution is proposed in this paper. The paper presents one simple heuristic method for the reconfiguration of distribution networks, in order to reduce real power loss under normal operating conditions. The proposed method is computationally efficient because it requires very less number of iterations.
