The power house control room of Indira Sagar project in houses the control and data acquisition system for integrated control and monitoring of all the generating units, its auxiliaries and switchyard equipments. The control and monitoring functions of the units including synchronization is possible from MMI system installed at control room.
The system installed at ISP is not of latest version as the orders were placed in 1997. The paper describes salient features of control and monitoring system installed in control room and shares the experiences in commissioning of MMB and MMI.
