For effective control and efficient use of water as well as for safety of various structures, different type of HM equipments have been provided. These HM equipments have been adequately designed to ensure reliable operation. Hydro-mechanical equipments for Tehri HPP includes trashracks, slide type stoplogs, fixed wheel gates, radial gates, gantry crane, hydraulic hoist etc. This paper provides an overview of hydro-mechanical equipments provided for Tehri HPP.
