250 MW Hydro Turbine and auxiliaries of Tehri HPP

Tehri Hydro Power Plant (HPP) is an underground powerhouse. It is equipped with four vertical Francis turbines, each of 250 MW capacity. Turbines and their auxiliaries have been supplied by M/s Power Machines, Moscow. This article describes the salient features of their turbine and its auxiliaries provided in the powerhouse.
