Tehri HPP stage-I is a mega project having installed capacity of 4x250MW (1000MW). All four generating units and associated equipment have been manufactured in different plants in Russia and supplied by M/s Power Machine, Russia. The Generator and Excitation Equipment have been manufactured at “Uralelectrotyazhmash” Plant, Ekterinburg, Russia. Erection of the equipment has been carried out by BHEL under the supervision of experts of M/s Power Machine Russia.
