Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited [Tata Power-DDL] is a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of NCT of Delhi with the majority stake being held by Tata Power Company (51%). The company started its operations in July 2002 as a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model to take over the power distribution activity of the Delhi Vidyut Board (DVB) in North & North West of Delhi. Since its inception, Tata Power-DDL (earlier known as North Delhi Power Limited) has been at the forefront in the adoption of the latest technology in the utility sector. Together with its culture of Consumer Service Excellence, Continuous Learning, Performance Orientation, Innovation and empowerment, it has been able to set benchmarks of accelerated reduction of AT&C losses and enhance consumer satisfaction. The organization has a special focus on Safety and wellbeing of human and animal life and several measures have been taken to improve safety culture and provide safe work environment-to all the stakeholders and society as a whole.
