This research work aims to carry out the rainfall trend analysis and Change-point analysis for the Semi-Arid region of Gujarat state. The analysis is carried out using data of 30 rain gauge stations with more than 40 years of data. The analysis is carried out using the Innovative trend analysis method and the Standard Normal Homogeneity Point (SNHP)-test in R-Software. An approach is made to classify the trends in the low, medium, and high ranges, which can be used in the future to analyze extreme events like drought and flood. The results of the monsoon trend analysis show that 60% of the stations have shown a decreasing trend. In June and August, there is a decrease in rainfall with 76% and 80% of stations showing a negative trend. In September there is an overall increase in trend with 87% of stations showing an increasing trend. The spatial maps showing a trend at each station are also prepared using Arc GIS. The change point result shows a significant change point at Sinor and Savli and Karjan for monsoon which belongs to the Vadodara district. The sinor station also shows a significant change point in June and August month.
