Abstract

The evolution of smart energy signifies a revolutionary transition in energy production, distribution and consumption, underpinned by technological advancements and a commitment to sustainability. Central to this transformation is an interconnected ecosystem composed of smart grids for efficient energy distribution, renewable energy sources like solar and wind as clean alternatives, energy storage systems that mitigate intermittency challenges and the integration of IOT and AI to enhance energy management with real time data and predictive capabilities. Simultaneously, evolving tariff structures, regulatory frameworks and governance models are shaping the smart energy landscape. Effective governance encourages collaboration among diverse stakeholders, guarantees adherence to sustainability objectives and verifies even transitions to advances energy systems. This paper explores the evolution of smart energy, its ecosystem and tariff, regulatory and governance mechanisms.
