Abstract

Employee Wellness program in work place can boost morale, improve health and fitness. As desk job brings lot of stress that leads to desk job syndromes like carpal tunnel, eyestrain, back pain, stress in order to get rid of all these syndromes a fitness program is conducted every morning at cholamandalam. The objective of the study is to find the effective participation among the employees and the satisfaction level in the wellness program.

The observations were taken at different departments in cholamandalam (HO) The descriptive research design has been used in this study. The sampling technique used in the study is simple random sampling. The sample size is 120 and the population size is 1005. Primary data is used for analysis, which is gathered using Questionnaire. Secondary data is also used for the study which is gathered from internet and journals. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (spss) v11.0 was used to analyze the data. The gathered information is critically analyzed using percentage method, the tools used for the study are Anova, chi-square-test. From the critical analysis it is found that employees were dissatisfied with the wellness program timing which is being followed in the organization. The suggestions given that the timing of the wellness program should be changed and additional activities should be conducted.
