Abstract

Much of the evidence of an association between high growth rate of population and growing rate of low literacy rate emphasized to make number of studies that include the phenomenon of social, economic and political factors influencing and hindering the progress rate of economic growth and development of the nations. As India stands next to China with regard to High growth rate of population it has also been a need felt to make a comparison study between growth of population and literacy rate to examine the development in various different parts of the country, state wise, examining the literacy rate between male and female ratio. We aimed to review published research to investigate relationships between low functional growth rates of literacy as compared to the high growth rate of population as such to identify literacy problems as they are less likely to be recognized and addressed, but however researchers can ponder a lot of information on many issues and suggest solution to the various problems.“A successful society is characterized by a rising living standard for its population, increasing investment in factories and basic infrastructure, and the generation of additional surplus, which is invested in generating new discoveries in science and technology”.
