Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine various triggers on innovation in the services and more so in the financial services. The study also explores linkages of the various triggers and also tries to understand if innovation in financial services is just an answer to the financial crises.

Market creation as central strategic challenge to the organizations. Profitable growth is sustainable only by creating and re-creating markets.This enables small companies to become big and allow big companies to regenerate them.

The paper/study relies on Christian Bieck and Åke Freij (2010) framework for consistent innovation in banking and insurance. It presents the triggers of innovation of services and more so for financial services.
