Effective advertising: an empirical analysis done in agra with special reference to soft drinks

Abstract

In this paper I have done the empirical analysis of advertising effectiveness of soft drink product among respondents. I have analyzed different variables like respondents watching advertisement for different times; Main Message of Advertisement, respondent’s description of Advertisement to friends, respondents having different ideas about claims made in advertisement, respondents understanding the product being advertised, originality of Advertisement, respondents buying the product in the next time or not, respondents buying things on impulse, respondents shopping online activities, respondents conservative tastes about soft drink product, respondents relying on their own judgement while buying, respondents Liking Stores With Very Low Prices, advertisement appealed to respondents Eye, advertisement is a fun to watch, respondents talking to someone else about this advertisement, respondents reaction to the advertisement, respondents likeness of similar Advertisement in the future, respondents chances of purchasing the product offered. Primary data is taken from Agra city of Uttar Pradesh. Age group is 20 to 25, because this age group is very much interested in consuming soft drink product. Total samples were 49 in number. The statistical methods which are used are mean, median, mode, standard deviation, skewness, and kurtosis. The statistical tool used is SPSS. Graphical presentation of data is done through histogram chart.
