Abstract

This paper scrutinizes how practical teaching helps the students to learn and glances the traditional methods of learning and teaching process. Teaching is the art of spreading knowledge in a manner which is beneficial to both the one who is teaching and also who is being taught. The art of teaching has been going on for many centuries. No one knows exactly when it was started or how it was started. Teaching has never been static. It is ever growing and ever changing. However, this paper scrutinizes the difference between traditional and practical teaching and thereafter learning. Through this paper it has been proved that practical teaching has its own merits and demerits as well. This treatise practically examines that how learners are being influenced by the practical English teaching methods and how can change the course English teaching methodology according to the present trend one way or the other, directly or indirectly learners are being affected and influenced by the practical English teaching methods. We need to do something in order to make the learners to learn consciously or unconsciously, it is possible only when the readers follow the methods discussed in the rest of the paper. It has also portrayed that how learners expect teaching and learning process should be. There has been a misunderstanding between traditional methods and practical methods always. Somehow teachers and learners should agree each other in order to fill the gap between the generations of these methods of teaching and learning process.
