Abstract

This paper presents analysis of a survey undertaken on a sample of 100 graduates of three professional programmes; Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The respondents were enrolled with IGNOU Hyderabad Regional Centre in the respective programmes and obtained their convocation degrees during 22nd convocation of the university held on 2nd April 2011 at Hyderabad. Survey conducted regarding students perceptions on distance education degrees in enriching knowledge and career opportunities. This paper also describes perceptions of the students on the support services provided at the regional centre and the respective study centres during the course of completion of the programmes.
