Critical thinking is an important life skill for people today. All educators are interested in teaching critical thinking to their students. Critical thinking involves a variety of skills such as the individual identifying the source of information, analyzing its credibility, reflecting on whether that information is consistent with their prior knowledge, and drawing conclusions based on their critical thinking. Almost all successful people can be expected to be good at their ability to think critically. The disposition toward critical thinking is considered to be crucial to a good critical thinker, as the requisite of the core cognitive skills. The critical thinker characteristics are described as a set of attitudes that define a personal disposition or tendency to use critical thinking in one's personal, professional and social life. The seven habits of mind that trigger the Critical thinking are, Truth-seeking, Open-mindedness, Analyticity, Systematicity, Self-confidence, Inquisitiveness and Cognitive maturity.
